Our Favorite Tools For Health Coaching Sales
We’ve been getting asked A LOT about which tools we recommend for health coaching.
And over the years we’ve researched & used many online software tools.
Depending on where you’re at, these are the best combinations we recommend.
As I go through each of these options, I’m keeping in mind 5 basic elements you need to focus on for success in this industry:
- Building an audience (an email opt-in for a gift is a great way to do this)
- Gaining their trust (social media presence first, but email automation is also great for this)
- Getting them a quick win with a heavily discounted high-value product (tripwire offer)
- A place to manage their products (an online portal)
- Having a home base (not required, but nice to have a website)
Now that we’ve covered the basics, let's get into product combinations we’ve used and had success with…

Recommendation #1 - Kajabi
Kajabi Basic Package
(everything you need for your coaching biz)
EMAIL
You can send 1-time email broadcasts to your subscribers and/or clients as much as you want. You can also send out automated thank you emails after subscribers opt-in to your list, or when clients purchase a coaching package (great for including a link to schedule their calls).
AUTOMATION
Kajabi Growth includes a robust automation feature that essentially helps you link together actions based on opt-ins, purchases, and course progress. It’s easy to use and will make you feel empowered to know what you want to have happen in Kajabi is actually possible!
SALES PAGES
In Kajabi you can build any kind of page you want, and it’s easy to link buttons to different types of action… in this case you want them headed to your checkout page next (which, btw, is so easy to use… and supports either Paypal or Stripe)
PRODUCT DELIVERY
When selling coaching you don’t need a place to host courses, products, programs or resources necessarily. However, over time you WILL eventually sell a product of some sort, and having a home for it is not optional - and hopefully it’s stored in a secure area that requires a username & password. For years we hosted our products in a Wordpress site and it’s not easy to do, now everything of ours lives inside Kajabi.
WEBSITE
You can literally have your entire website up with Kajabi in a few hours. With Wordpress that process can take weeks, and the learning curve is steep! Being able to quickly generate optin pages, thank you pages, event pages, about pages, sales pages, checkout pages & blog posts is one of my favorite things about Kajabi. Very fast & always looks great… no tech necessary.
Recommendation #2 - Samcart
Samcart Launch Plan
(good for building sales & checkout pages)
EMAIL
You can use Zapier to send thank you emails after new customers purchase. You can learn how to set this up inside Launch, Coach + Grow.
AUTOMATION
They integrate with lots of other services for automation. You don't need to set these up if you're just starting out, but it's nice to know they have them for the future.
SALES PAGES
They offer a great templates you can use to create a checkout page in 10 minutes, or a full sales page in about an hour.
PRODUCT DELIVERY
You can also build courses using their Launch Plan (We haven't tried this feature yet).
WEBSITE
You can't build a full website with a navigation menu, but you can build a 1-page website that you could use until you're ready for a full one.
